Revising History: Iraq, Saddam Hussein and WMDs

Revising History: Iraq, Saddam Hussein and WMDs: "This is an unbelievable piece and I am surprised that it is running on the front page of CNN.   The Iraq War was predicated on the idea that our CIA had credible intelligence that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction.  They went so far as to suggest that they had “slam-dunk evidence” of WMDs and President Bush continuously pushed this fabricated / faulty evidence in order to engage Iraq in war.

Anyone remember Osama Bin Laden?

We diverted our forces and decided not to hunt Osama Bin Laden down in the wake of September 11th.  This article simply contributes to the revisionist history that some members of the Republican party would like America to believe.  Let’s say for a moment that Saddam Hussein was in-fact bluffing and wanted to use the idea of WMDs as a deterrent to other nations."
