A very cool app for searching the news. Here my latest "open source comment" I predict that there will be a proliferation of alternatives to "search" as we now know it that will start to appear once it becomes known that Google may alter the way it presents "exact matches" based Paradigm-Shift info of its own creation.

In other words who is the arbiter or relevance when various words are placed in a particular sequence in a Google box?

On Obama's Many Promises to Stop Iran's Nuclear Program - Jeffrey Goldberg - International - The Atlantic

On Obama's Many Promises to Stop Iran's Nuclear Program - Jeffrey Goldberg - International - The Atlantic: "NOV 29 2011, 9:11 AM ET
President Obama, who has been maligned in every possible way on the topic of Israel and its security, continues to affirm his commitment to stopping Iran's nuclear program. Not that you would notice from the coverage. I've believed, since I reported this Atlantic story last year, that Obama is quite serious about keeping nuclear weapons out of Iran's hands.

Earlier this month, following the damning IAEA report on the progress of Iran's nuclear program, Obama spoke of marshaling an international front that "makes clear to Iran this is unacceptable." "

The Essence of this Website is it's One Message.

Creating a world that is safer for us all, requires careful thinking planning and building upon a stable foundation. As peace loving citizens of the world we must unite i a simple, logical and un-mistakable remedy which must be utilized so that the world of the future is a safer place for children and other living things. G-d has gifted us all with beautiful and sophisticated minds. All we must do, is change the way we use them.

Citizens of the world must unite. We will not tolerate a Nuclear Capable Iran. The enlightened person intuitively and factually understands the future implications of a nation like Iran possessing nuclear weaponry is a too much of a major shift in a very delicate power shift. We who can express our views, vote our conscience and especially those who currently serve as our duly elected or paid officials are sworn to protect the US against our enemies, be they foreign or domestic, who is this case are also the enemy of any peace loving citizen of the world.

Just as these tiny colorful building blocks spell out a simple message, so do the current actions that are taking place in the one world where we all live.

During these fast paced and rapidly developing times, we need to build a solid foundation where the world where our children and grandchildren live will be a safer, kinder, healthier, more economically sound, and safer world.

These goals are reasonable and achievable and obtainable however there are some wild cards which are currently in play which break our world so badly where it would simply be irreparable. All the other lofty political and economic goals being so hotly debated pales by comparison. The only world truly worth living in, is a world that is safer than the world we live in today.

Russia 'ready to build new reactors' in Iran: "Russia is ready to build more nuclear reactors in Iran, its nuclear chief Sergei Kiriyenko said Thursday despite renewed fears that Tehran is seeking to produce nuclear weapons.

"We are looking into it, we have the orders, so we are working this proposal through, since building specifically nuclear reactors is not an issue of doubt in the international community," said Kiriyenko, who heads the Rosatom state corporation.

"It's not related to sensitive issues, so it is entirely possible," Kiriyenko told a government meeting, noting that Iran has expressed a desire to continue building nuclear reactors.

His comments came as Western governments renewed pressure on the Islamic republic over its nuclear programme after the UN's nuclear watchdog published an report pointing to evidence that Iran was making nuclear missile warheads."

Ron Paul denies third-party run. So why are pundits still talking about it? - CSMonitor.com

Ron Paul denies third-party run. So why are pundits still talking about it? - CSMonitor.com: "Paul, despite his straw poll wins, continues to poll in the single digits (behind Herman Cain, Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, and Rick Perry) in national surveys of likely voters, and it's unlikely a third-party run, even if he did choose that, would garner significant support.

But it could certainly be a factor in the overall election, much like Ross Perot's run was in 1992.

Moreover, Paul has been reluctant to support other Republican candidates. In that same Fox interview, Paul said he would "probably not" give his support to a GOP candidate unless that candidate agreed with most of his positions (highly unlikely, given Paul's stances on everything from the Federal Reserve and defense spending to foreign affairs and aid to Israel)."

"You’ve heard the war propaganda that is liable to lead us into the sixth war, and I worry about that position," said Paul.

John Kerry (D-Mass.) said at the Washington, D.C., premiere of “Countdown to Zero,” a movie about nuclear proliferation.

In audio of his speech, obtained by CNSNews.com, Kerry said, “There isn’t one of them in either the Gulf States, or Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Kuwait, other countries, that hasn’t said that if Iran gets a nuclear weapon, that they feel compelled for their defense to go down that road. So it is patently clear that a world free of nuclear weapons, countdown to zero, is a world that does not pass through Tehran’s nuclearization.”

Kerry further said, “It’s not just that Tehran would abuse it’s nuclear power to project its own agenda, but it is also the fear that as other nations proliferate, any terrorist group then has greater target of opportunity in order to get a hold of nuclear fissile material. "

Biomass: "Biomass fuels are a renewable resource because they can be replaced fairly quickly (within a human lifetime) without permanently depleting Earth's natural resources. By comparison, fossil fuels such as petroleum and coal, require millions of years of natural processes to be produced. Revising History: Iraq, Saddam Hussein and WMDs

Revising History: Iraq, Saddam Hussein and WMDs: "As I recall, it was the United States that insisted that Iraq posed a real threat to our security and safety.   At the time, it was “unpatriotic” to dissent or give unpopular views about misguided foreign policy.

At the time all of this drama was unfolding, WMDs referred to nuclear weapons, the mushroom cloud reference that President Bush and Condoleezza Rice used to sell the Iraq War?

The question of why did the US President, back then, work so hard
to justify the attack and the US war on Iraq stating that the US uncovered
proof positive that Saddam Hussein had developed Weapons of Mass Destruction.
Is every bit as good as another question, how come the USh President now does not even
show concern or even threaten war when there is an abundance of clear evidence that Iran is
just a few steps away from creating a significant amount of weapons grade Uranium-235. All the
news reports read that the current 20% enrichment and that the required leap to 90% enrichment is
a relatively small one. Even though scientists might think they have this down to a science and are
observing this thing so closely. I for one am not comfortable with these kinds of statistics.

The truth is that we never feared Saddam Hussein or the WMDs we claimed he had.  From his biological weapons (that we sold him)  to his tyrannical violent years as President of Iraq – (we gave him power) the United States was responsible for all of it.

I love the U.S., my country, more than anything… but I despise the lies and deception"

Anyone remember Osama Bin Laden?

We diverted our forces and decided not to hunt Osama Bin Laden down in the wake of September 11th.  This article simply contributes to the revisionist history that some members of the Republican party would like America to believe.  Let’s say for a moment that Saddam Hussein was in-fact bluffing and wanted to use the idea of WMDs as a deterrent to other nations."

Revising History: Iraq, Saddam Hussein and WMDs

Revising History: Iraq, Saddam Hussein and WMDs: "For him, it was critical that he was seen as still the strong, defiant Saddam. He thought that (faking having the weapons) would prevent the Iranians from reinvading Iraq,” said Piro.

“He told me he initially miscalculated … President Bush’s intentions. He thought the United States would retaliate with the same type of attack as we did in 1998 … a four-day aerial attack,” Piro said. “He survived that one and he was willing to accept that type of attack.”"

Revising History: Iraq, Saddam Hussein and WMDs: "Saddam Hussein is reported as having “misled the world” in believing that Iraq had WMds.  Now it seems Saddam Hussein is to blame for the Iraq War and apparently he made a conscious effort to mislead the world about his non-existent WMDs.

After all, it is Saddam Hussein that “led the world to believe he had WMDs.”

According to a CBS report, Hussein claimed he didn’t anticipate that the United States would invade Iraq over WMD, agent George Piro said on “60 Minutes,” scheduled for Sunday broadcast."

On October 4, 2004, Cybercast News Service reported that a 'senior government official who is not a political appointee' provided CNS with 42 pages of Iraqi Intelligence Service (IIS) documents which were then translated from Arabic by two CNS translators. CNS reports that the official told them that the documents answer 'whether or not Iraq was a state sponsor of Islamic terrorism against the United States. It also answers whether or not Iraq had an ongoing biological warfare project continuing through the period when the UNSCOM inspections ended."

The Iran Iraq War and WMD: "he Use Of Chemical Weapons
The Stockholm International Peace Research Institute's (SIPRI) report on Iraq's use of chemical weapons during the Iraq-Iran War. This report is dated May 1984.
Allegations of the use of chemical weapons have been frequent during the Iraq-Iran War. One of the instances reported by Iran has been conclusively verified by an international team dispatched to Iran by the UN Secretary-General.

There have been reports of chemical warfare from the Gulf War since the early months of Iraq's invasion of Iran. In November 1980, Tehran Radio was broadcasting allegations of Iraqi chemical bombing at Susangerd. Three and a quarter years later, by which time the outside world was listening more seriously to such charges, the Iranian Foreign Minister told the Conference on Disarmament in Geneva that there had been at least 49 instances of Iraqi chemical-warfare attack in 40 border regions,"

The Iran Iraq War and WMD

The Iran Iraq War and WMD: "In 1980 Iraqi President Saddam Hussein invaded Iran hoping to reverse the 1975 border settlement and perhaps to gain control of the rich, oil-producing Iranian province of Khuzestan. Hussein also wanted to put an end to religious propaganda directed against Iraq's secular regime by the Islamic government of Iran, which had come to power in 1979 under Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini. Khomeini and most Iranian Muslims belonged to the Shiite sect of Islam. Hussein feared that the propaganda would undermine the loyalty of Iraqi Shiites, who comprised about 60 percent of his country's population."

Iraq and weapons of mass destruction - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Iraq and weapons of mass destruction - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia: "During the Presidency of Saddam HusseiPublish Postn, the nation of Iraq used, possessed, and made efforts to acquire weapons of mass destruction (WMD). Hussein was internationally known for his use of chemical weapons in the 1980s against Kurdish civilians during and after the Iran–Iraq War. It is also known that in the 1980s he pursued an extensive biological weapons program and a nuclear weapons program, though no nuclear bomb was built.[citation needed]
After the 1990-1991 Persian Gulf War, the United Nations located and destroyed large quantities of Iraqi chemical weapons and related equipment and materials throughout the early 1990s, with varying degrees of Iraqi cooperation and obstruction."

The Iran Iraq War and WMD

The Iran Iraq War and WMD: "Weapons of Mass Destruction
The Iran - Iraq War
The Iran-Iraq war was an armed conflict that began when Iraq invaded Iran in September 1980 and ended in August 1988, with an estimated total of 1.7 million wounded and 1 million dead. The underlying cause of the war lay in the long-standing regional rivalry between Persian Iran and Arab Iraq.

The immediate cause, however, was a border dispute that had its origins in the mid-1970s. In 1974 Iran had begun supplying weapons to Kurdish nationalists in northern Iraq, enabling them to stage a revolt against the Iraqi government. In order to halt the rebellion, Iraq in 1975 compromised on a dispute with Iran regarding the border on the Shatt al Arab estuary. In exchange, Iran stopped supplying arms to the Kurds."

Iran to triple capacity to enrich 20% uranium

Iran to triple capacity to enrich 20% uranium: "The West accuses Iran of seeking to acquire a nuclear military capacity under the guise of its civilian atomic work, a charge Tehran strongly denies.

At the heart of Iran's dispute with the West lies uranium enrichment, a sensitive process which can produce either fuel for a nuclear reactor or the fissile material for an atomic warhead.

Despite being targeted by four sets of sets of UN Security Council sanctions over its refusal to halt uranium enrichment, the Islamic republic is adamant it will push forward with its controversial nuclear activities.

Abbasi Davani meanwhile announced 'the forthcoming installation of the first cascade of 164 new-generation centrifuges', which are more powerful and faster than the models Iran currently operates in Natanz.

Iran has over 8,000 centrifuges of the first generation IR-1, with nearly 6,000 actively purifying uranium to the 3.5 percent level, according to the latest report by the UN nuclear watchdog in May."

Iran has secretly stocked enriched uranium for four nuclear bombs - GBAtemp.net: "In its twice-annual report published Thursday, June 2, Wisconsin revealed three further developments in Iran's nuclear drive:

1. Since November 2010, when Iran stopped enriching uranium in all cascades at the Natanz plant for about a week (the report does not give the reason for the stoppage – possibly a Stuxnet virus invasion of its computer control system), the enrichment rate has increased.

The 5,000 centrifuges spinning in February 2011 increased to nearly 6,000 in May 2011.

Iran Says Its Submarines are in the Red Sea - Defense/Middle East - Israel News - Israel National News

Iran Says Its Submarines are in the Red Sea - Defense/Middle East - Israel News - Israel National News: "Iran has sent military submarines to the Red Sea, according to the semi-official Fars news agency.

'Iranian military submarines entered the Red Sea waters with the goal of collecting information and identifying other countries' combat vessels,' Fars said in a Tuesday report, citing an unidentified source.

It did not say how many submarines were involved or what type they were but noted they had sailed alongside warships from the Iranian Navy's 14th fleet.

Thanks for the info, I suppose someones going to
have to find out to see where these things are being made.

State-run Press TV said in a report earlier in May that the 14th fleet – which is comprised of two vessels, the warship Bandar Abbas and the destroyer Shahid Naqdi – had been sent to fight piracy.

'The fleet entered the Gulf of Aden region in May and has now entered the Red Sea in the continuation of its mission,' Fars said.

Two Iranian warships passed through the Suez Canal en route to Syria in February, for the first time since the 1979 Islamic Revolution. Israel called that move a 'serious provocation.' "

UN nuclear watchdog turns up heat on Syria and Iran

UN nuclear watchdog turns up heat on Syria and Iran: "By Simon Morgan

VIENNA (AFP) — UN atomic watchdog chief Yukiya Amano turned up the heat on Syria and Iran -- both accused of illicit nuclear activity -- as the body's policy-making board of governors began a meeting in Vienna on Monday.

Tehran and Damascus are both accused of actively blocking the International Atomic Energy Agency's long-running investigations into illegal nuclear activity.

At the end of May, Amano released two new reports in which he said Iran was continuing to stockpile low-enriched uranium, in defiance of multiple UN sanctions, and refusing to answer allegations of possible military dimensions to its contested nuclear programme."

Saudi Arabia and Iran may clash at the OPEC meeting later this week after the Gulf kingdom is expected to push for increasing oil output and is likely to be met by opposition from Iran.

Saudi Arabia is likely to be in favor of a rise in output to reduce prices and support economic growth, but Iran’s OPEC governor has dismissed the need to lift supplies.

“There is no need to increase OPEC production in the 159th meeting of this organization,” said Iran’s OPEC governor, Mohammad Ali Khatibi, according to reports citing the Oil Ministry Website SHANA.

The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) are expected to discuss raising crude supply next week for the first time since 2007, in a move that could weaken $100 oil prices and lessen the impact of high energy costs on economic growth."

BBC News - Q&A: Iran nuclear issue

BBC News - Q&A: Iran nuclear issue: "Why has the Security Council ordered Iran to stop enrichment?

Because the technology used to enrich uranium to the level needed for nuclear power can also be used to enrich it to the higher level needed for a nuclear explosion.

There are fears that Iran is either secretly planning to make a nuclear device or is at least acquiring the know-how so that one day it has the option of doing so.

Iran hid an enrichment programme for 18 years, so the Security Council says that until Iran's peaceful intentions can be fully established, it should stop enrichment and other nuclear activities."

Analysis: Why did Germany capitu... JPost - Iranian Threat - News: "In 2009, EIH was used by [the Deutsche] Postbank in a sanctions evasion scheme which involved handling transactions on behalf of UN-designated Bank Sepah. EU-designated Bank Mellat is one of EIH’s parent banks,' according to the EU sanctions list. (Both Bank Sepah and Bank Mellat are based in Tehran.) The Merkel administration had consistently ignored warnings from the French, American and British governments about EIH’s nuclear and military activities. Last year, the US Treasury Department sanctioned EIH because it had served to advance Iran’s nuclear and rocket programs.

The International Herald Tribune reported last summer that Chancellor Angela Merkel snubbed President Barack Obama’s request to close EIH.

According to a WikiLeaks cable from 2008, Will Gelling, the head of the British Foreign Office’s Iran Coordination Group, said the UK “is pushing Germany on this bank with a view to an EU listing,” but “Germans are pushing back."

IAEA has new info on alleged nuclear weapons work by Iran

IAEA has new info on alleged nuclear weapons work by Iran: "IAEA director general Yukiya Amano had written to Iran's vice president and head of its atomic energy body, Fereydoun Abasi, 'reiterating its concerns (and) expressing the importance of Iran clarifying these issues,' according to the report.

But Tehran has not yet responded, the official said.

Nevertheless, Amano's letter 'makes it clear that we're very concerned and that Iran should engage with us,' he said.

The IAEA calculated that Iran's stockpile of low-enriched uranium in the main branch of its Natanz uranium enrichment plant had now reached 4,105 kilogrammes.

Uranium enrichment is the most controversial part of Iran's nuclear activities because it can be used not only to generate nuclear fuel, but also to produce the fissile material for a nuclear bomb.

Tehran is under four sets of UN sanctions for refusing to halt such sensitive work.

But the Islamic republic remains defiant and has even started work on a second uranium enrichment facility at Qom.

In February, Tehran had said it planned to begin feeding nuclear material into cascades by the summer. But as of May 21, no uranium-enriching centrifuges had been introduced to the site, the IAEA said."

Iran again shows failure to comply with obligations: US: "WEDNESDAY, 25 MAY 2011
WASHINGTON (AFP) — The United States said Wednesday that a new UN report on Iran's nuclear program underscored Tehran's continued failure to comply with its international obligations.

In a restricted new report, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said Tuesday the Islamic republic has continued to increase its stockpile of low-enriched uranium, in defiance of multiple rounds of UN sanctions.

'It underscores Iran's continued failure to comply with its international obligations, and clearly illustrates its sustained lack of full cooperation with the IAEA,' State Department spokesman Mark Toner said."

Iran Watch: Iran's nuclear timetable: "amount of low-enriched uranium Iran has stockpiled, and the amount it is believed to be producing each month, the Wisconsin Project estimates that by December 2008, Iran had accumulated enough U-235 to fuel one bomb -- assuming Iran decided to further enrich the low-enriched material to weapon-grade. The Project further estimates that by the end of 2009, Iran had enough U-235 to fuel a second bomb; that Iran had enough of this material for a third bomb by August 2010; and that Iran had enough of this material for a fourth bomb by last April 2011 -- in each case assuming that Iran decided raise the level of U-235 in its low-enriched uranium stockpile (3.5 percent U-235) to weapon-grade (90 percent or more U-235).

As Iran increases its stockpile of low-enriched uranium, it will consolidate its status as a 'virtual' nuclear weapon state."

Yemen opposition says Gulf mediation 'over'
Attempts by Gulf monarchies to mediate in Yemen's crisis are 'over,' opposition spokesman Mohammed Qahtan said Tuesday after President Ali Abdullah Saleh repeatedly refused to sign a deal that would see him hand over power within 30 days.

The United Arab Emirates, which holds the rotating Gulf Cooperation Council presidency, made known the termination of the group's mediation efforts in a letter to the UAE's ambassador to Sanaa, the spokesman added."

Belief in Prehistoric Nuclear War Reveals Modern Fears: "n February 2008, global dignitaries gathered to inaugurate the Svalbard Global Seed Vault, a repository for plant life designed to withstand nuclear war so survivors could restart civilization with healthy seeds. Magnus Bredeli-Tveiten, who oversaw construction of the vault, told the Associated Press that he expected it to last as long as the 4,500-year-old pyramids of Egypt. However, for a certain percentage of the public, ancient civilizations like Egypt are just one key to a nuclear war that already happened-thousands of years ago."

No Nuclear Iran!

No Nuclear Iran!
Current Worldwide Trends Lead to a Dangerous Situation-By Stephen Sanders- June 1, 2011 11:35am

Hunger- Leads to political unrest, revolution, chaos, terrorist acts, war.

Israel-Strong, as other nations side with the ever growing ranks of disenfranchised, angry, hungry, poor (partially from high oil prices) they seek the only solution they know. Blame Israel as a scapegoat because they were raised from birth to believe the mere existence of this one nation is the cause of all their problems. These factions seek to undermine and then take the nation apart from within by living within Israel's borders.

No Nuclear Iran: All of the current economic problems point to the biggest growing concern. As the US turns its attention to appeasement of the Arab nations, nothing definitive gets done as far as any real pre-emptive measures to stop Iran from becoming a super-power in the mideast complete with nuclear weapons of mass destruction.

The Role of the United States:

The president apparently is either mis-informed on the nuances of the politics of appeasement in the Mid-East (perhaps he believes his own naive idealism) or even worse he understands and embraces the Sharia law following Muslims and is ready to do his part to allow this well funded fundamental extremist, militant war mongering evil ideology to take over the world and inflict their system of belief upon all the nations.

I know it sounds to apocalyptic to be true, however these are strange days we are living in. One needs to read deeply into the actions, words, and deeds of people, especially those in power.

Iranium The Movie: Coming Soon (Video trailer): "hen push comes to shove and world leaders are given no choice due to some overt action undertaken by that country. The efforts of the world community are typically limited to reliance on the United Nations for the imposition of sanctions that have no real impact. Beyond that, Iran seems for the most part to be a crisis that is out of sight, out of mind.

The recent Stuxnet virus, covert and from sources 'unknown', had some success in throwing a monkey wrench into the Iranian nuclear works. But, it is not enough to simply just delay delay the effort. It is critical for the security of the world to completely eradicate the Iranian nuclear program.
